We are so excited to kick off the season with our Time Trials! Please review all important details below so we can have a smooth, fun, and successful morning for everyone!
β° Volunteer Information
β All volunteers must check in with Amelia Liu in the baby pool area. She will be carrying a blue clipboard.
Volunteer Arrival Times
- π Set-Up Crew: 6:30 AM
- π© First Half Concessions: 6:30 AM
- π§βοΈ Officials & Timers: 7:15 AM
- β±οΈ Clerks & Timers: 7:30 AM
- π Second Half Concessions: 9:00 AM
- π§Ή Breakdown Crew: 10:00 AM
β οΈ Volunteer Reminder:
All volunteers must arrive on time and stay for their entire assigned shift or they will forfeit their volunteer point.
πβοΈ Swimmer Arrival & Warm-Ups
Arrival Time
- π Swimmers must arrive by 7:15 AM
- π Warm-ups begin promptly at 7:30 AM sharp
- β° Swimmers who arrive late may miss warm-ups
What to Wear & Bring
- π Wear your new navy suit or last seasonβs royal blue suit
- π§’ If wearing a cap, it must be a Sharks cap
- π Bring goggles β an extra pair is highly recommended!
Towels
Please bring:
- π§Ί One towel to sit on
- π§Ί One towel to dry off with
βοΈ Writing Events on Your Arm
Please bring a Sharpie to write your events on your arm using:
EHLS
- E = Event
- H = Heat
- L = Lane
- S = Stroke
β Write the numbers in the first three boxes and the stroke name under βS.β
π The meet sheet will be sent later tonight or early tomorrow morning. Since this is a practice meet, sign-ups stayed open a little longer while final entries were organized.

Tomorrow we will have lighter concessions including:

π Team Area Expectations
- π All swimmer bags, towels, and belongings must stay in the team area
- π« No swimmers are allowed in the coach seating area
- πͺ Coaches need a space to relax and regroup between events β please no seat stealing
- β Swimmers should check in with coaches after races
π¨π©π§ Parent & Spectator Guidelines
Parent Supervision
- π« No swimmer under the age of 15 may be dropped off
- β Swimmers age 14 & under must have a parent or guardian present
- π« Volunteers, coaches, and board members are not babysitters
Team Area & Seating
- π« No parents in the team area
- π« No personal chairs are allowed on deck due to HOA safety regulations
- β During dual meets, seating will be available off deck in the parking lot
Watching Races
- π When your swimmer is not racing, please move back so all families can enjoy watching their swimmers
- β Please be courteous, respectful, and kind to everyone

π Older Swimmer Reminder:
Many of our younger elementary and middle school Sharks look up to our older swimmers. Please help set a positive example by using respectful language, showing kindness, encouraging teammates, and demonstrating great sportsmanship on and off the pool deck. Letβs avoid inappropriate language or negative slang and help create a team environment where everyone feels supported, included, and proud to be a Shark!
