Participation: A participation trophy will be awarded to EVERY Shark swimmer at the end of year party.

Most points per age group: An award will be given to the boy and girl in each age group who has earned the most overall points for the season, based on a computer generated “total points” report. With the exception of relays, all events will factor into these total points – all strokes and IM.

NOTE: The winner of the overall IS ELIGIBLE for the age group medal.

Most points overall team: An award will be awarded to the ONE boy and ONE girl who has earned the most overall points across the ENTIRE team for the season, based on a computer generated "total points" report. With the exception of relays, all events will factor into the total points – all strokes and IM.

Percent Improvement: An award will be given to the boy and girl in each age group PER STROKE who has the highest percent improvement for the season, based on a computer generated “percent improved” report by stroke / age group.

Coaches Award: This award goes to the swimmer who exemplifies the Sharks spirit. This award is given to the ONE BOY and the ONE GIRL (regardless of age group) who the coaches select based on the season. The winners of this award will be swimmers who:

• Show up to practice ready to get in the water
• Encourage their teammates to do their best-in the water and out
• Are motivating to teammates of all ages
• Are friends to every member of the team
• Participate in team building spirit activities
• Have a positive attitude
• Strive to be the best
