Hi Sharks Families,

After a chilly weekend, we are officially thawed out and ready to dive back in — and great news…
👉 Practice is ON for tomorrow, Thursday, May 28!

Practice Schedule:

• 5:00–6:00 PM: Little Sharks, 8 & Under, and 9–10s
• 6:00–7:00 PM: 11–12s

Coach Rick tested the waters today and officially declared them ready for the Sharks 

🏊 — so we are good to go for tomorrow!

That said, if the temps still feel a little too brisk for your swimmer, no problem at all — we completely understand and will look forward to seeing you next week.

📝 Important Reminders

✅ Volunteer Deposit Checks
If you have not yet turned in your $500 volunteer check, your swimmer(s) will not be able to participate until it is received.

• This is just a deposit for completing your 4-meet volunteer requirement
• We do not plan to cash these checks
• Make checks payable to: Stone Ridge Community Swim Team

💡 Check Collection Tomorrow
Mark Ziminsky and/or another board member will be seated outside the lifeguard area tomorrow to check in families and collect missing volunteer checks at the start of practice.

✅ Volunteer Jobs Open Tomorrow Evening
Jobs for the first half of the season will be available starting tomorrow evening (May 28) — be ready to sign up!

• Each family must work 4 meets this summer
• Only one person per family may work a meet

We’re so excited to officially kick off the season — even if it takes a lap or two to warm up! 😄 Thank you all for your flexibility after the cold snap.
