Welcome to Hartland!

We’re excited to welcome you to Hartland for our upcoming meet on Saturday, July 12th. Below are the details to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable morning at our pool. This is our first season, and we’re thrilled to host our second home meet—thanks for being part of it!

📍 Meet Location:

Hartland Pool

41245 Hartland House Lane

Aldie, VA 20105

🚗 Parking:

Parking is available in the lot near the pool, but it fills up quickly. If parking in the neighborhood, please be respectful of fire hydrants and avoid blocking driveways or mailboxes. Gravel areas are fair game for parking. Allow extra time to find a spot and walk to the pool—thank you for helping us be good neighbors!

⏰ Meet Schedule:

• Pool deck opens: 6:45 AM – teams may arrive at this time
• Hartland Hurricanes warm-ups: 7:00 AM
• Visiting team warm-ups: 7:30 AM
• Meet start: 8:00 AM (or as soon as possible after warm-ups)
• Hard stop: 11:30 AMNote: We aim to complete relays, but this isn’t always guaranteed.
• Officials’ briefing: 7:30 AM
• Timers’ briefing: 7:40 AM (immediately following officials’ meeting)Both meetings will be held near the referee table by the baby pool.

🏊♀️ Team Area:

Your team will be located on the pool deck.

Spectators should stay on the side of the pool near the splash pad. The tiered seating behind the shallow end tends to get crowded—please reserve that area for swimmers only, especially during 25m events.

🚫 Facility Notes:

• The baby pool and playground are off-limits during the meet.
• Please keep swimmers and siblings out of these areas.
• Swimmers should not hang on the splash pad equipment.

🍴 Concessions:

A concession stand will be available with drinks, snacks, and light breakfast options (including Chick-fil-A and Anita’s).

We accept cash and Zelle (via QR code).

A Kona Ice Truck will also be out front!

🎖️ Ribbons:

Let us know how you’d like to handle ribbons:

• We can provide blank ribbons and label sheets for your team to take home, or
• We can deliver labeled ribbons to you after the meet.

From Stone Ridge Sharks, we kindly request the following:

• 9 timers
• 4 stroke & turn officials (2 for each half)
• 1 DQ runner (to deliver DQ slips to your coach)
