⏱️ Timer Reminder
- At the last meet, one lane had times more than 10 seconds off due to the Blue Dolphin stopwatches not being stopped immediately.
- Stop the watch the moment anything touches the wall. Swimmers work too hard for mistakes.
🏊 Team Area Rules
- Only swimmers allowed in the team area.
- Older swimmers should help younger ones.
- Clerks are not responsible for finding swimmers outside the area.
- Missing a race = swimmer’s responsibility. We will not look for you outside team area.
- No swimmers in the semicircle area : Swimmers cannot hear the clerks and it widens the mess we have to clean up.
- Use trash cans – keep the area clean and respectful.
- The team area runs smoothly when everyone does their part...no need for constant supervision, just thoughtful teammates.
🤝 Behavior Expectations
- Be respectful, responsible, and kind to:
- Yourself
- Teammates
- Coaches
- Competitors
- Spectators
- Older swimmers: Be role models and help the littles.
🧢 Relays
- Clerks will assist with 8 & Under relays to help our youngest swimmers feel confident and ready.
- Swimmers ages 9/10 and up are expected to manage themselves after being lined up.
- 9/10 and older know how to do it—they’ve been practicing all season and many have done this for years.
- Encouraging independence helps them build confidence and teamwork.
🦈 Let’s Finish Strong – Go Sharks!
Thank you all for your energy, teamwork, and dedication throughout the season. Let’s make tonight a celebration of our swimmers, our seniors, and our amazing community. Be respectful, be responsible, and most of all—have fun.
