Dear Sharks Families,

1. Pasta Night – Thank You!
A huge thank you to Kelly Hogarty and Anh Ngo for organizing a fantastic Pasta Night! It was a great success and a wonderful way to bring our team together.

2. Behavior Expectations at Sharks Events
When we gather for Sharks events, whether at a school, gym, cafeteria, or at the pool, we are representing our team and community. It’s essential that everyone, including swimmers, siblings, and parents, demonstrates respectful and responsible behavior at all times.

Unfortunately, during Pasta Night, several team members were seen wandering the halls, behavior that is not allowed, and were reported to school staff for actions we cannot ignore.  This included swimmers from 8 & under through high school.

🔹 Parents: Please actively supervise your children.
🔹 All Swimmers & Siblings: Stay within the designated event area.
🔹 Everyone: Be respectful of the space, clean up after yourselves, and follow all posted rules.

Let’s keep the energy high and the respect even higher, so we can continue to enjoy hosting Sharks events in school spaces for seasons to come.

3. Meet Day Reminders – Be Ready, Be Responsible!

📍 Arrival Time: 4:15 PM
🔥 It will be HOT – Hydrate with water + electrolytes, wear sunscreen and hats.
🚫 No chairs allowed on deck
👀 Watch your swimmer, then move aside
📍 Parents & Spectators: Please remain on the concessions side of the pool only (the side with the snack stand and team tents). Do not cross to the swimmer/coach side or block walkways. This helps keep the deck clear and safe for swimmers and volunteers.

Volunteer Timeline
⏰ Set-Up Crew: Arrive by 3:45 PM
⏰ Concessions Assistants: Arrive by 4:30 PM
⏰ Timers & Officials: Arrive by 4:45 PM

⛔ Timers and Officials will be replaced if not present before the briefing starts. No exceptions.
⏰ All Other Volunteers: Arrive by 5:00 PM
🏁 Meet Starts Promptly at 5:30 PM
🛟 Kickboard Race: Happens before the meet
🧹 Clean-Up Crew: Report at end of Fly
📍 Check in at the baby pool area on time or you will be replaced

We are all volunteers: please be on time and ready. Let’s make this meet run smoothly!
