Hi Team, 

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow is the LAST day to declare your availability for our first regular season meet this Saturday in Lovettsville! 

📍 Meet Details: Location: 57 E. Broad Way, Lovettsville, VA 20180 

Drive Time: About 45 minutes 

Arrival Time: No later than 6:55 AM (warm-ups start at 7:10 AM sharp – yes, it’s early, but we believe in you!) 

Pool Type: Yards – so your seed times may look faster than usual. Why? Because a yard is shorter than a meter. You’re literally swimming less. It’s not magic, it’s just a sneaky little measurement trick. Blame the imperial system.

Event Order (Lovettsville style): FREE → BREAST → BACK → FLY → IM → RELAYS 

You may choose up to 3 individual events for regular season meets.

Important: You must be able to swim each stroke legally to enter that event. If not, we’ll remove you—no hard feelings, just fair competition. 

🔁 Let’s Talk Relays (Seriously) Relays are a team effort, and we need to know who’s in and who’s out. No maybes, no ghosting. 

• If you mark yourself available, you are committing to stay until the end of the meet, including relays. 
• No-shows or early exits = no more relays for the rest of the season. (We love your butterfly, but not your vanishing act.) 
• The board is made up of volunteers who love swimming, not chasing down swimmers. Help us out by being clear and committed. 

⏳ One Last Thing… Sign-ups close at 11:59 PM on Wednesday night. That’s one minute before midnight, aka the moment Coach Rick turns into a pumpkin and your chance to swim turns into a “maybe next time.” 🕛🎃
