We’re looking for enthusiastic and organized volunteers to lead our upcoming team events. As an Event Lead, you’ll be the main point of contact for your event. You’ll plan, coordinate, and run the event, ensuring everything goes smoothly and everyone has a great time.

You won’t be alone! Our Event Coordinator, Kelly Hogarty, will work closely with you to support your planning and help make your event a success. You’ll also have access to volunteers to help with setup, cleanup, and other tasks. 🧩 What You’ll Do as an Event Lead:

• Plan the event details (menu, games, setup, etc.)
• Create and manage a SignUpGenius for donations or volunteers
• Shop for supplies (you’ll be reimbursed—just save your receipts!)
• Stay within the event budget (Kelly can help guide you)
• Be on-site to answer questions and manage volunteers
• Ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish

🍝 Pasta Night – June 24 – 8 Points

• Organize the menu and shop for supplies
• Create a SignUpGenius for food donations
• Answer family questions
• Oversee setup and cleanup

🍳 Paper Plate & Breakfast – July 18 – 4 Points

• Plan the breakfast menu and logistics
• Shop for all breakfast supplies
• Coordinate setup, cooking, and cleanup
• Ensure coaches have what they need for the paper plate awards

🥳 End-of-Season Party – July 23 – 2 Leads Needed

1. Food Lead – 8 Points

• Coordinate food and drinks
• Work with Alex Amaya on the menu
• Order baked ziti and meatballs from Scottos (not Glory Days)
• Create a SignUpGenius for sides and desserts (no chips—those are provided!)
• Shop for paper goods, ice, and condiments
• Set up food tables and tents in the parking lot
• Use leftover drinks from concessions and buy more if needed
• Place desserts in the concessions area

2. Games Lead – 8 Points

• Plan and run fun games and contests
• Be on-site the entire event
• Be loud, organized, and energetic
• Coordinate volunteers and keep the event flowing
• Plan:
  • A pool dive with name-labeled toys
  • A Boat Relay with inflatable boats
  • A new, creative relay
  • Fun contests like hula hoop, limbo, or the latest dance craze

All event-related expenses are fully reimbursable—just save your receipts or send links for online orders. Please stay within the event budget. Kelly can help guide you if you’re unsure.

We cannot hold these events unless we have volunteers to lead them. Our board members and coordinators are already stretched thin, and we need new faces to step up. Kelly Hogarty will support you, but she cannot run these events alone.
