Sharks Update Week 8
Make Up Meet: Senior Night: Wednesday, July 17, 2024
Everyone needs to sign up again. Sign Up Here by Midnight!
Meet Theme: Christmas in July. Stone Ridge Sharks vs. Loudoun Valley Estates. . Swimmers can accessorize in Red, Green, Winter or Christmas attire.
Swimmers should arrive by 4:15 and be ready for warmups at 4:30.
Volunteers: If needed, drop your jobs here for Wednesday.
Please delete yourself if you are no longer able to make it. We have copied over all of the volunteers from last time.

Spirit Nights: All Spirit Nights Earn Money for your Sharks!
Monday, July 15: Come to Brusters at 42015 Village Center Plaza #100 from 5-7 and see your favorite coaches scoop some ice cream.
Tuesday, July 16: Kokee Tea at 25739 Branch rail Dr. Suite 100 from 10am-10 pm.
Thursday, July 18: Foster's Grill at 24995 Riding Plaza # 100. from 11am-9pm

A Busy, Fun Week Ahead:
Monday: Regular practice followed by BYOC : Bring your Own Cereal
We will provide bowls, spoons and milk. If you were volunteering and can no longer make it, please update the sign up.
Tuesday and Wednesday: Regular practice
Wednesday Night: Makeup meet with Loudoun Valley Estates. Did you resign up?
Thursday: Picture Day:
Arrive by 7:45am. Our group picture will be at 8:00 am followed by individuals/ sibling pictures. Whatever your family prefers.
Preorders are accepted here: You must order ahead to use a credit card.
ACCESS CODE: SWIM
There will be some order envelopes at the shoot for cash and check orders only.
Friday: Last Day of Regular Season Practice and Kickboard Mini Meet: 8AM: All Ages
All ages will cheer for our kickboarders who will show off their hardwork from this season.
Afterwards, we will have some fun in the pool followed by a pancake breakfast.
Divisionals: The sign up should be open any day for divisionals. It will CLOSE Thursday at 9am with no exceptions or late adds. If you are not close to All Stars times, you should sign up as soon as it opens. Thursday AM is just for those who are close, but may not make it on Wednesday.
Divisionals will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at One Loudoun at 8am. Stay tuned for Warm up times.
Who Can Go to Divisionals?
You must have attended and swam in 2 regular season meets.
Divisionals Rules:
- You can swim any stroke in which you have a time from a regular season meet. NTs are not accepted into any event.
- You CAN swim divisionals if you only have 1All Stars Cut in any other stroke than the one qualified for in All Stars.
- Swimmers who have 2 or more times All-Star qualifying times, will not be eligible to swim at the Divisional meet
- Swimmers CAN qualify into All Stars from Divsionals.
Divisionals is a great meet for our swimmers who may not always get a ribbon to shine. Medals are given for places 1-12.
