Meet Theme:

Sharks in Paradise: Stone Ridge Sharks vs. Belmont Sharks – A Hawaiian Showdown! Swimmers can accessorize with Aloha Attire for Wednesday night’s meet.

Kickboarders:

If you would like to participate in our pre-meet festivities, please RSVP Here.

Kickboarders will kick across the pool right after the national anthem with a kickboard and their coach.

Meet signups:

Please double check your meet entries for Wednesday. We had two meets posted for Wednesday. No one had signed up for the extra, but just check that you are signed up on this one: SIGN UP HERE!

The Belmont Meet Sign up closes tonight, Sunday, at MIDNIGHT!

The Broadlands Meet Sign up closes Wednesday(the night of the Belmont Meet) at MIDNIGHT! SIGN UP HERE!

We cannot do late entries. Sign up ON TIME, or we will not be able to accommodate you!

Shark Sidekicks:

Find them here. A great idea for this Wednesday is to greet your swimmer with a lei after their race to congratulate them!

Morning Practices:

Morning practice starts on Monday! Here is the schedule.

Spirit Night:

As the temperatures soar this week, cool off with some ice cream at Sweet Frog in South Riding from 5-9pm on Monday, June 17. It is located at 25042 Riding Plaza, #100. Mention you are with the Stone Ridge Sharks. A portion of all proceeds will return to the team.

Sharks Meets and Events:  Don't Miss out

With our new website, it is even easier to stay informed.  All meets and events are on our SIGNUP CALENDAR.  

Once you are logged in, you can download the team schedule form the sign up calendar to your favorite calendar app by hitting subscribe. 

Clerk of Course and Team Area:

Swimmers must stay in the team area. We will not search outside of the team area for swimmers. If they are not there, they will miss their events.

At our home meets, remember no parents are allowed in the team area. If your swimmer comes to see you, please give them a quick hug and send them back. Once their races are done, if they are not on a relay, they may go home. Our next 3 meets are at HOME at the Greenstone Pool.

Parent Area at Practices:

All parents staying for practice will not be allowed on the pool deck. They will need to be in the party room at the pool. The coach's appreciate this to avoid more distractions for the swimmers.

Tie Dye Day:

Please RSVP if you are coming to our Tie Day Day after practice on Friday. RSVP Here!

Swimmers MUST bring their OWN shirt to participate. The best shirts for tie dye are 100% cotton. It is also good to wash them before dyeing them.

Coach Clinics:

Do you want to improve your breaststroke technique? Join Coach Rick for a breastroke clinic! He will take a maximum of 6 swimmers in each session. Sessions are $30 and paid directly to Coach Rick.  Venmo @rick-stakel

Swimmer Area:

Swimmers must clean up their area before leaving. Please be respectful of our pool area and visitor pool areas. If you have trash, please throw it away instead of littering!
